Imadegawa Kinyuki (今出川公行)

Kinyuki IMADEGAWA (year of birth unknown - July 21, 1421) was a kugyo (court noble) who lived during the Muromachi period. He mainly served three emperors, Emperor Gokameyama (the 99th), Emperor Goenyu (the 5th emperor of the Northern Court), Emperor Gokomatsu (the 100th), and Emperor Shoko (the 101st), and advanced up to Sadaijin (minister of the left) at the rank of Juichii (Junior First Rank). His father was Sanenao IMADEGAWA, Udaijin (minister of the right). Sanetomi IMADEGAWA, Dainagon (chief councilor of state), was his son.

In 1381, he was awarded Jusanmi (Junior Third Rank), becoming a kugyo. Then he became Dainagon, after assuming Sangi (councilor), Bingo gon no kami (provisional governor of Bingo Province) and Chunagon (vice-councilor of state). In 1399, he also assumed a post at Konoefu (the headquarters of the inner palace guards). In 1402 he resigned from Ukone no daisho (the major captain of the right division of inner palace guards), but was promoted to Udaijin (minister of the Interior). In 1403, he was appointed to Udaijin (minister of the right). In 1409, he was awarded the rank of Juichii. He was appointed to Sadaijin in 1411 and remained at the post until 1418.
